Big Thanks to our Customers and Partners for Attending Sinequa Inform’18 in NYC and Joining the Information-Driven Revolution

On Wednesday, September 12th, we were joined by a mix of customers, prospects, and partners at Inform’18, our 3rd annual user community event in New York City. The event provided attendees with the opportunity to mingle with Sinequa experts, partners and customers, to hear how our Cognitive Search & Analytics platform is being leveraged across different industries and use cases. The beautiful venue – Monarch Rooftop Lounge, overlooking the Empire State Building – was packed with attendees representing a variety of prestigious organizations in Pharma, Finance, Defense & Aerospace and more in an informal setting, providing the perfect environment for learning and networking.

We had the pleasure to have as our keynote speaker Mike Gualtieri, Vice President & Principal Analyst at Forrester, who kicked-off the afternoon with a very enlightening presentation about the trends in AI-powered search to enable the Information-Driven Enterprise while differentiating between “pure AI” vs. “pragmatic AI” and existing AI building blocks with true business benefits.

Divya Harinder from AkamaiAs for every community event, Sinequa allocated a lot of time to our customers to take the center stage to highlight their journey to become Information-Driven. Divya Harinder, Manager, Engineering at Akamai Technologies, the world’s largest and most trusted cloud delivery platform, made the trip from Boston, MA, to detail their recent Sinequa implementation to connect the dots (over 20 data repositories as a starting point) and optimize the search user experience for thousands of knowledge workers with a slick “Akamaized UI”.

Then, Shefali Pathak, Global Search Owner at Celgene, a leading NJ-based biotechnology company, walked us through “CelSearch” providing the users insightful information extracted from over 50 million documents and records. The speakers were then joined by Kamran Khan of Accenture for an interactive panel discussion moderated by Sinequa Director of Product Marketing, Scott Parker. Panelists took questions from the audience, making this part of the event very informative and engaging for those in attendance.

Sinequa strives to deliver the best possible solutions to our customers and prospects, and our offerings are not limited to top-of-the-line cognitive search & analytics platform. Those able to stay for dinner and drinks were pleasantly surprised and entertained by a menu of signature cocktails: Sinequila Sunrise, Information-Driven Sidecar, and NLPeach. Even the smallest of details are taken into consideration! The next event may be a year away, but we are plotting to make it even more successful than its 2018 counterpart!

Zoom on Big Data Paris 2015

Big Data Paris is by far the largest Big Data event in France. The popularity of this event has incredibly grown since its inception and this is representative of the interest that big companies show towards Big Data Business Solutions.

Over 5.000 people have attended the event this year and Sinequahad two busy and interesting days of networking with the French Big Data ecosystem.

Fabrice de Salaberry – COO of Sinequa - co-presented a plenary session with Daniel Le Coguic, Senior VP and heading Big Data & Security France and IMEA at Atos, our worldwide partner.

Hundreds of C-level executives and decision makers of the biggest French and multinational companies listened to our common Big Data vision and inspiring actual customer cases.

What: Widen Your Scope: Analyze and Visualize the Unstructured World

This seminar will discuss two cases in productive use at Sinequa customers in Life Sciences and Telecoms.

In Life Sciences, customers identify networks of experts (“expert graphs”) and expertise by analysing about 200 million highly technical documents and the contents of trade databases. Experts are identified by the “footprints” they leave through their written work. The Sinequa platform automatically recognizes synonyms and “related concepts” in the scientific language. The R&D organization is optimised, time to market reduced and drug repositioning facilitated.

In a Telecoms contact centre, a 360° view of a customer is automatically created from more than 20 enterprise applications containing customer data (billions of records and textual data). Usage is simple and intuitive with response time below two seconds. Call centre staff no longer need to be trained in all the different enterprise applications, saving thousands of person weeks per year in training. They no longer need to juggle with 6 to 15 different applications during a single call. Average call time is reduced by 17%, allowing a call centre with 10.000 people to handle about 40.000 additional calls per day. featured-community-large-926x190 (1)
