Enterprise Search Summit, November 5th – 7th, 2014 - Washington, Booth #311
Enterprises wanting to leverage internal and external data to enhance profitability and deliver excellent services need discovery mechanisms and analytics as well as enterprise search. The emphasis is on the evolution of search and analytics, a collaborative working environment, and an era of constant change. It’s no longer about merely searching for information within the firewall—it’s about customers finding products, companies monetizing real time activities, and organizations maximizing the value from data they own.

When: Wednesday, November 5, 2014, 2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Who: Xavier Pornain, VP Sales and Alliances, SINEQUA

What: Search & Analytics in Real-Life Business Cases with very Strong ROI

Two use cases will be presented: one from a pharmaceutical company, detecting networks of experts and expertise in a complex scientific environment; the other from a telecommunications company,  offering an instant and intuitive 360° view of customers calling a contact center, with data being pulled together from up to 30 enterprise applications containing customer data.

Big Data Analytics November 13th, 2014 – London, Booth #4

This high-level event is aimed at CEOs, CMOs, CFOs, Business Directors, Heads of BI, Data Scientists and all other technology professionals looking to leverage the opportunity to better harness their data for profitable use, while also being mindful of privacy, data protection and other legal, risk and compliance issues.

When: Wednesday, November 13, 2014, 12:15p.m.

Who: Hans-Josef Jeanrond, VP Marketing

What: Widen Your Scope: Analyze and Visualize the Unstructured World

This seminar will discuss two cases in productive use at Sinequa customers in Life Sciences and Telecoms.

In Life Sciences, customers identify networks of experts (“expert graphs”) and expertise by analysing about 200 million highly technical documents and the contents of trade databases. Experts are identified by the “footprints” they leave through their written work. The Sinequa platform automatically recognizes synonyms and “related concepts” in the scientific language. The R&D organization is optimised, time to market reduced and drug repositioning facilitated.

In a Telecoms contact centre, a 360° view of a customer is automatically created from more than 20 enterprise applications containing customer data (billions of records and textual data). Usage is simple and intuitive with response time below two seconds. Call centre staff no longer need to be trained in all the different enterprise applications, saving thousands of person weeks per year in training. They no longer need to juggle with 6 to 15 different applications during a single call. Average call time is reduced by 17%, allowing a call centre with 10.000 people to handle about 40.000 additional calls per day. featured-community-large-926x190 (1)
